Listing one example of multiple entries using formulas

    Morning All,

I've a list of quite a few hundred customers, each with multiple lines relating to individual stores. Against each customer is an industry type and i need to create a list detailing the customer name and their industry type.

Rather than going through thousands of lines and copying and pasting each one out, i figure there has to be a way of sorting this or using a formula.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Attaching a sample workbook enables others to work on your problem:

To attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Excel sample 12.xlsx

Hopefully thats worked - knocked up a very basic sample.

From this i'd be looking to end up with something that reads:

    Aloha - Retail
    Bill Bloggs - Industrial
    Harrisons - Childcare
    Smiths - Entertainment
    Wilkes - Retail
    Davisons - Childcare

Evidently the actual sheet has hundreds of businesses and thousands of lines though!
