update one table based on "text" in another table

I have two separate tables. The only thing common to both tables are the names in one column,. I've attached a file that shows the two tables. When I
enter a number in the first column I need the second table to update also. Each table contains over 2000 rows of data. Obviously the rows are not identical but do contain the same text. Is there a way to search that second table in return the same number next to the same item from the first table. I hope I've explained that okay. If there is a way to do this using a formula, that would be great... Otherwise if VBA is the only way to do it, that's fine too. I've been trying to figure this out now for 2 days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
