I have in cell AF2 a drop list, if a word "cancelled" being chosen & from cell AE2 to AH2 is blank, I want to highlight the full row from A2 to AI2 with yellow color. How can this be done with conditional formatting??

Try selecting AH2 and hitting delete. If you aren't aware of it COUNTA will count anything that is contained in a cell (visible or not) even if it is a null ("").

Is that range really blank - as in, it contains nothing - or does it have a formula in it?
