    Page breaks out of control!

I have inherited a computer at work that has some kind of corruption in excel. Any attempts to change page settings results in page breaks being placed around every cell, making the smallest documents 6000 pages long when it comes time to print.

I have removed and reinstalled the program to no avail.
Resetting the page breaks does not work
Clearing the print area does not work.
Adjusting column width also causes this to happen.
When I take the files to another computer, there is no issue, so it is symptomatic of the system, not the file.

    Any ideas??

When you take your file to another computer, are you printing to the same printer? Often, print issues are related to the specific printer. Is it possible you don't have the latest print driver installed?

Can you select a different printer at the suspect pc?

Don't know for sure, but worth a look.

I'd check the printer too. I used to run into this when I worked as a desktop publisher and people would send me excel books for printing.

Yes. Reset your margins to narrow. Check your printer settings. Change to a printer you know prints regular A4.
