Keep conditional formatting results, but remove the conditional formatting?

I have some conditional formatting on a ton of cells that are spread out all over the place. The result of the CF is a blue fill. All I want to do is be able to maintain the blue fill while removing the CF.

I considered filtering by color but the amount of columns I have would make that extremely time consuming.

So far no luck with any kind of copy, past special either.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I believe the only solution for your problem is to write a Macro. My next reply will provide you with a link to a solution which involves running a macro in order to remove all conditional formatting in all sheets in a workbook while keeping blue (or any) fill. The macro should do the job in less than 1sec.

2 things... Thanks for the link to the solution joe31623, but I didn't have any luck with it.

And how do I move this thread to the vba forum as suggested?

    Thanks guys!

So far all the macro does for me is go cell by cell and turns everything white while maitaining any text or data. There are no grid lines either... weird.

Also, the macro never stops so I have to CTRL ALT DLT to get out of it.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple!

Please forgive me! I was too quick to copy/paste from the other thread. I didn't notice that there was a second entry with another macro to try. That one worked just perfect!

    Thanks!!!
