Finding data contained in another cell and identifying the row

Hi,

My company's accounting department is a mess. I always spend a lot of time reconciling their ledgers with the invoices. The issue is that while the invoice number is 33111109, the ledger sends this number chopped such as 3111109.

I am trying to find a formula that finds the row containing 33111109 any numbers in this sequence in the ledger so that it is easier for me to reconcile.

Does anyone know if this is possible at all?

your 2 sentence seem incompatible

and

should you not be searching on 3111109 which is the chopped version?
