I have conditional formatting set to change the cell color based on the value of the cell. These all work great unless the value is zero, which I basically don't want the cell to change color at all, but just leave all existing formats. This doesn't seem to work. It changes the default light gray to white each time.
Without futher information I should say try something like this:

Does your cell actually contain the value ZERO (0) or is it empty/blank/contains a formula that results in ""?

Make sure that you change the ; to a , when you write the formula that popipipo gave you. (some regions use ; instead of the , that we are used to in North America).

In my example 0, blank and "" were were not changed by Conditional Formatting.
If you have blank cells, 0 value cells and "" value cells these will work for values greater than 0
