Dynamic Chart Title

Hello Gurus,

I am making 1600 graphs and I need your help to make my life a bit easier. I want to make a dynamic chart title.

I want that If I enter my column header my chart title will automatically change.

Hi,

Select the chart title box and then in the formula area enter
=A1

where A1 contains the text of your chart title.
I couldn't see from your example where you record text like 'Comparitive Dissolution profile.....in 900mL....Paddles...' etc. If these are constants then just build them into the cell that contains your chart title along with formulae that refer to your chart column labels.

I'm trying this formula as per your suggestion to build a cell that will refer to my chart title but it gives me a #value!

=LEFT(A44,FIND(" & ",A44)-1)&B33&" " &RIGHT(A44,FIND( " ",A44)-1) & ""& C33

In my A44 I have this data ( Comparative Dissolution Profile of in 900mL of 0.1NHCl, Paddles,100rpm, 37 by HPLC)

Hi,

As you have identified this is a string slicing question.
Your formula isn't working since you're trying to find the "&" character. Try instead
