I have a big worksheet with a columne with figures. Some of these figures are read as numbers, other are read as text.
The figures are not actually numbers but rather model-identificators so it is not a task to summarize them.
These 'model-id's have other data connected to them in the table so I have made a pivot-table
in order to sort data connected to the various model-id's.
The problem is that some of these model-IDs er read as numbers, others as text.
Because of this the pivot lists up a model-ID at two separate places in the pivot-table.
Looking at the table I am not capable to identify which are read as what. They have the same cell format etc.
I have tried to change the format in the column to Text and Numbers. It doesnt help.
Is there a smart method to 'clean up' the column in the source table in order to have the figures to be read in the same format ?
