    Angry Pulling Information from separate sheets....

    Ok, I will try to make this the least complicated to explain as possible.

    Sheet 1

    Cell
    A1 = ABC
    A2 = DEF
    A3 = GHI

    B1 = Mark
    B2 = Mark
    B3 = Mark

    Sheet 2
    A1 = ABC
    A2 = DEF
    A3 = GHI

    B1 = Mark
    B2 = Sally
    B3 = Joe

    So, sheet 2 is the true statement... (I want ABC = Mark, DEF = Sally, GHI = Joe) Is there a formula that will make anything in Sheet 1 Column B equal what Sheet 2 says column A's name should be?

    I don't know if that makes any sense... I have been trying to create this report for two days now and don't know what side is up or down anymore!

    Any help would be appreciated and I can try to clarify if this doesn't make sense.

    Wes

    So you want a list of ID's on sheet two and when that ID is placed in column A on sheet1 you want the name associated with it to show in the adjacent cell in column B. Is this correct? If so, place this formula in cell B1 on sheet1 and copy down to B3. Or see attached.

    Hmmm... That's along the right idea. Check out the attachment... What I would like is for all IDs on sheet 1 to match the three IDs on sheet 2 with the appropriate name. Your formula worked, but when I added more IDs to sheet one, it came back with 'N/A' as the result.
    Thank you so much!!!

    Use this formula instead. You will be able to add as many rows as you want.
