Hello. Is there a way to get this reference to change as I drag it down a column.
Example:
=P4, next row down
=O5 next row down
=N6 etc
Thanks!!

This will extract values in the progression that you describe. Enter where you want the answers to start and fill down.
Formula:=OFFSET($P$4,(ROWS($P$4:P4)-1)*1+0,(ROWS($P$4:P4)-1)*-1+0,1,1)

Formula:=indirect(""&char(row($a$84)-row($a4))&row(a4)&"")
In factFormula:=indirect(char(row($a$84)-row($a4))&row(a4))
Thank you both. Those worked.
@ doverman. Why do you add the *1+0. Seems unnecessary, no?

the *1 is the incremental value and the +0 is the starting number. They are necessary with the formulae that I gave you.
