Hyperlinking and named cells

I have a spreadsheet that uses an index page where I have named cells GOOGLE & BING that I put google and bing map links like this: http://binged.it/1XYlNox. I then have multiple sheets where I have put =BING to show the link. When I click on the link in the index page, it takes me to the map in my browser, the problem is that when I am on any sheet other than the index sheet, clicking the cell just gives me '=BING' and doesn't actually take me to the webpage.
I've tried to link the cell back to the original named cell (BING), but that just takes me back to the index page.
