Hi,
I created a button with the control tool box, but it's a small button- Inside the caption is only a number "1", but the margin of the button erase half of the number.
How can I remove the margins?

Hi, do you mean you want a bigger button so you can see the number 1?Originally Posted by Alfredim
If so, right click on the button. You can then either
1) change the size of the button by selecting in the menu: Format Control then Size and change the size to something bigger.
2) after right clicking, left click somewhere on the spreadsheet once. You will notice the button will have circles in the corners and sides. You can then pull the button to the size you want.
Because you mention margins, you can also find a Margins option by following point 1).

You can increase the size of the button manually by right clicking on the button and dragging one of the vertical sizing handles or a corner sizing handle until the number shows properly or you can right click on the button, go to the Developer tab, click on Properties and change the HEIGHT value to a larger value until the number displays properly.

It seems to me that the OP wants to keep his small button, but the forced margins between the caption text and the button border prevent him from doing so while keeping the caption visible.
I have the same issue and do not see any button properties that allow modification to interior button text margins. What am I missing?

Not sure if this helps, this is the first time I have been in a position to contribute to a solution so please let me know if it did, I know the last post was a long tome ago but you never know!
I had the same problem using an ActiveX control button that I wanted to fit into a cell for aesthetic reasons, it was so small the caption could not be seen at all!
I replaced it with a Form Control button from Developer>Controls>Insert and was able to access both margins and alignment properties to reduce the size of the button and still allow all the caption to be visible. My button was to call a VBA Sub which it does successfully.
