Unhappy Setup Page to fit with invoice! HELPP ME PLZ!

Hi, i want to insert my invoice scanned picture into excel and align text to it,
so it will fit in my real invoice when printed out. But i can't do it, excel behave really odd
    this is my invoice margins, width = 214mm & height = 301mm
    A1-01.jpg
In my excel file, i setup page to A4, all margins = 0 then insert my picture and this is the result:
    A2.jpg
    A3.jpg
It's just so wrong, my page is set to A4 (210mm) then why my scanned picture 214mm exceeded the page so much?
And why there is a big blank space at the right side of every pages while i set all margins = 0
what i want is that when i print it out, the scanned invoice picture should fit in one page with exactly dimension like this
    A1-01.jpg
or at least for the left side (the right side may be cropped)
    Thank you very much!
I attached my excel file below

When you print try setting the scaling to fit all on one page.

Let me know how you go.

    Cheers

You have margins of 9mm on both sides. Add that to the 214mm of the scanned form to make 232mm total. You can use the printer driver "scale to fit" or reduce the size of the picture using the sizing handles.

If this is just for printing purposes, you could scan to PDF and print that.

Fit on one page will make the print out invoice doesn't maintain the real dimension, i want it remain original dimension after printed out.
Is there anyway to achieve that? thanks you

Excel typically distorts inserted objects when it comes to printing them. That's because Excel isn't a true wysiwyg program. Inserted objects will typically be shortened by 3-4% and widened by 6-7% when printed. You can confirm the actual distortion for your setup by inserting a large square or circle then printing the page containing it. If you calculate the horizontal & vertical distortions by measuring the printed size of the square or circle, you can re-scale the inserted object to compensate.

Are you trying to use the picture as a form over which you insert values? If that is the case, you would likely be further ahead designing the form in Word. Save it as a template and then use Excel as a source to fill in the form using Mail Merge.

newdoverman: Yes, that is what i want. I did it on Word but i want to do it on Excel for more control. So... is there any way? Page setup in Excel just confuse me, even i set all margins to 0, still there is a blank space on the right as you see. I found no way to remove it but fit to page

As far as having control of output is concerned, Word allows you much better control. It is meant for output where Excel is primarily a "number cruncher" and not for printed output...in my opinion. Getting the values correctly placed in the form is another problem and Excel's picture handling is very rudimentary. Word will allow you to put a picture behind text so that both text and picture are visible.

Creating a form in Excel to have Excel fill out is a real pain and it is very difficult to get the visual results "right". At least, that has been my own experience.

Some of what you are seeing is what the printer is not allowing you to do and that is to fill the printed page from top edge to bottom edge and from left to right edges...borderless printing.

One way to get around the printer limitations in this area is to input a larger size in the page setup than what you are actually using. Use a custom paper size and set it to be 3-4mm larger in width and length than what you are actually using. Then you can set the margins to print exactly what you want. It takes set-up time but when perfected produces a good result.

Indeed, But, aside from the object skewing in Excel, the set-up for printing on pre-existing forms isn't much less fiddly and a mailmerge for grouping multiple records per page (as you might have with an invoice or purchase order) isn't exactly straightforward.
