    Data Layout

    Hi all,

Is there any easy of getting data such as below all on to one line,I can't seem to upload a sample but the shows as below, so each number and date is in a different cel.
Property Move In Date Move Out Date
    1547600 05-Sep-07 21-May-08
    30-Jul-06 28-Nov-06
    04-Oct-05 29-Jul-06
    1547611 10-Sep-01 22-Jun-08
    01-Apr-95 22-Dec-97
    1547622 31-Oct-07 26-Feb-09
    16-Jul-05 29-Nov-06
    02-Mar-05 30-Jun-05

I would prefer it to show as:
Property Move in Date Move Out Date Move In Date Move Out Date Move In Date Move Out Date
    1547600 05-Sep-07 21-May-08 30-Jul-06 28-Nov-06 04-Oct-05 29-Jul-06
    1547611 10-Sep-01 22-Jun-08 01-Apr-95 22-Dec-97

    Re: Data Layout

Lets assume you want the data from cells A2:A10 to go in cell A1 all together and so on for each additional row with data. You could use a concatenate formula or & symbols

'keep going until you hit A10. The " " adds a space in between each cell reference value if you want one.

'keep going until you hit A10. The , will need to be between each cell reference.

You can do the same for columns if your data was in A1, B1, C1... etc

    Re: Data Layout

Thanks for the reply. Will that work for the example of data I have attached though? (apologies the example is using google sheets as my home laptop doesn't have office currently, the actual data is in Excel 2010). The top is how it is formatted now and the bottom is how i need it formatted ideally.

    Thanks.

    Re: Data Layout

I could write a macro but there is no formula that I am aware of that would pull that data down given its layout
