Summing values of a speficied time range over multiple days

Hello,

I have hourly data that extends for about seven months and I need to sum the value for each date between 06:00 and 18:00. Any ideas on how to do this? I've attached the file.

It looks like this is giving me the total for the entire year. What I'm looking for is the total for each day.

Not sure exactly how do you want to populate the sum based on each day, try this to see if this is what you are trying to achieve.

It will return the Sum for each new date in column A.

That's getting closer, but I'm unable to drag the formula down to fill in each date. Basically what I want to appear in D2 is the sum of B8:B20, then D3 should be the sum of B32:B44, D4 should be the sum of B56:B68, etc. So I would need a formula that calculates the sum of 12 rows, then skips 12 rows, and repeats that for the entire time series.

Any more ideas on this? sktneer's suggestion works to some degree, but I need the values to match the dates in column C.
