    Conditional Formatting on 2-D array

    Hi,
I have the below format for a master dataset
    State1 State2 State3
    CityA1 CityB1 CityC1
    CityA2 CityB2 CityC2
    CityA3 CityB3

I give the users an option to select any city from a dropdown list
    User City
    User1 CityB2
    User2 CityA3
    User3 CityA1

I want to apply conditional formatting on my master data set such that if any user selects a city (from a dropdown list), the cell in the master dataset should turn red.
    State1 State2 State3
    CityA1 CityB1 CityC1
    CityA2 CityB2 CityC2
    CityA3 CityB3

What is the formula I can apply on the master data set for conditional formatting?

Re: Conditional Formatting using array formula

Select the data in master sheet and then press ALT->O->D click on new rule now select "Use a formula to determine which cell to be format" then paste formula =OR(A2=$F$2:$F$4) then select the format then ok.

    Check the attached file.
