    If X is equal or less & Y is equal or greater then Show "1"

    I'm looking for a formula that can look at 2 sets of #'s and if they fit that criteria then show a "1". This is a baseball statistic for those that follow baseball it might be easier to figure out. I'm looking for a formula that calculates "quality starts". A quality start is when a starting pitcher pitches at least 6 full innings & gives up 3 or less runs (earned runs).

    I created a file that has some dummy information.

    For non baseball people I need a formula that will populate a "1" every time column A is 6 or greater & column B is 3 or less.

    Thanks

    =if(and(a1>=6, b1<=3), 1, 0)

    A few keystrokes shorter...

    =(A2>=6)*(B2<=3)

    Thank you all!

    Alkey. I Understand your formula except for the 0 at the end. The 1, makes sense but why is there a 0?

    EDIT: Ah, looks like you put whatever # you want to show up when it doesn't meet the match!
