Need to get monthly sales from the data separately

Dear Members, i Need to get solution of the problem. i have nearabout 50 sales persons and each month i need to calculate the sales of the men manually. More than 4 years of data is in excel file, and i need to get total sales of each individual person monthwise. As i tried this through pivot table, but it gives me the total sales of all months. is there any solution in which i get rid of this and get easily sales of the current month or any specific month
    Hope to get any solution
    Regards

Pivot Tables should contain some form of filter to isolate a specific month.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Once you have the data in a pivot table right click on a date , select the option to Group and select Months, this will sort everything for you, you can add the dates to the Pivot Filter if you want to look at only specific months
