Excel to CSV and the date format lost

    Hello,

I need some help regarding excel to csv conversion.

Actually I have one of my customer who wants the date in "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss " format and he needs in .CSV format.

I have changed the same in excel however when I save this excel to .CSV and reopen then the date format gets changed and it looks like "MM-DD-YYYY".

Please help me as how can I keep my settings in CSV.

    Thank you very much.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Re: Excel to CSV and the date format lost

    Thank you for the reply,

I did the same thing however when I re-open the excel then it shows the same date.

Example I changed "2016-05-09" as per the formula and save as per your instruction and when I reopen it shows 5/29/2016.

Please suggest. It is showing in CSV however excel shows correct.
