Create a cutting list for a variable sized list of doors, each door consists of 5 parts.

Hi, I set about yesterday trying to make an excel spreadsheet that would work out a total list of parts that would require cutting to make a batch of doors for a kitchen. I thought it would be relatively easy, but I was sadly mistaken. Lets say the doors in question consist of 2 x 90mm wide stiles (the vertical bits of the doors) of which their lengths are variable. The cross rails (of which there are also x 2 ) would be the door width (eg 596mm) minus 115mm, again variable. The centre panels door height minus 122mm and door width minus 122mm.
I need to create formulas that will allow me to type in a list of door sizes required and for it to work out the total number of parts at their specific sizes that will be required. I'm not interested in optimisation of waste, all I need is a total list of parts.
I think this will probably involve the =IF command of which I'm not at all familiar with.

I'd appreciate it if someone could give me some pointers to get me started.

Would the doors in a batch all be the same height and width? Is there just one centre panel per door? How wide are the cross rails?

All widths and heights are variable and also variable quantities. The sample sheet is great for just one door multiple quantities. However a kitchen door lot will have over 15 different sized doors. I could repeat the formula you have done for each door but would then need to add the common parts together into a single cutting list.
I've adjusted the sheet and reattached. Well I will in a minute when I figure out how to do it.

I cant figure out how to reattach the excel file, when I click on the attach clip a line appears below but doesn't let me do anything else.

Yes, I understand that, Warren, but if there are lots of different possible dimensions, then you are going to need to enter them somewhere. The cutting list section can be made to compile the results easily enough.
