Can you provide the relevant formula for the following using index and match?

=VLOOKUP($C21,Sheet1!$B:$I,COLUMNS(Sheet1!$D1:E1),0)

Try this:

=INDEX(Sheet1!$B:$I,MATCH($C21,Sheet1!$B:$B,0),COLUMNS(Sheet1!$D:E))
