Downloaded Template cant convert from USA to UK

    Hi

I've been on this for days now and cant get a solution!

I have downloaded a template to use for work to record staff absence, it's an American version obviously called Employee Attendance Tracker

I have tried every thing I can think of to get it to change to UK version dates as it currently is set at Month/Date

I've tried formatting the cells individually (by changing to English UK) I've tried changing the language and region on my PC (to UK) everything I could find online I've tried.
I tried formatting cells individually which will work sometimes then in the next cell when I type a number (ie 18 for the 18th of the month) it changes it to 182!

Someone please tell me a quick way of doing this before I give up completely and get sacked!

Can you please attach the template, or the link where you downloaded it from? Please indicate which sheets and cells have the dates that are giving you problems.

I think I've attached it - I may be wrong!

The dates are in the 4 tabs 1stQ, 2ndQ etc in cells F5, G5, H5 etc

    Thanks

That's kind of strange. These dates appear to be entered as text, rather than dates. That is why your formatting changes have no effect. Try this version. I think it's related to using dates in headings for a Table. I fixed this by setting up cells with true dates, then copying them into the headers. But they are still not true dates.

BTW what year is this for? It is missing Feb 29 but this is a leap year. I have added it. You can delete that column in years where it's not needed.

The only way that I could get anything to stick was to convert the tables to ranges then change back.
