Conditional Formatting Based on Today's Date

    Hi,

I have a log that has several entries put in each day.

I would like to have conditional formatting so that anything with today's date has the formatting (say, Bold type).

Can someone please assist me? I just can't seem to make it work.

    Thanks as always, Paul.

Re: Conditional Formatting Based on Today's Date

    Hi,

    Please see attached.

While today is 10/5/16 (in dd/mm/yyyy format), entire line to be bold.

If I open up tomorrow (11/5/2016), it's no longer bold.

    Cheers.

Re: Conditional Formatting Based on Today's Date

Select the whole date and then press ALT->O->D, you will get a window naming conditional formating rule manager -> click on new rule you will get new formatting rule->select the last option called use as formula to determine which cells to format-> put =TODAY()=$A2 this formula into format values where this formula is true-> now click on format and format cells as you want then apply and then ok.

Now the conditional formatting will work.

    Check the attached file.
