converting existing cells with data to radio buttons

    Hello
I have a file with 30,000 rows. One of the columns is to tell if a customer is active or inactive.
Does anyone know if it is possible to select this whole column and have all of the active and inactive
converted into a radio button with the appropriate option automatically selected?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

It could be done with VBA code but I'm not sure if that many controls on one sheet is supported. How will you use the radio buttons after you set this up? Can you provide a sample with just the first few rows? If it has customer data you may need to fake the data.

Well...what I am doing is importing a csv file into sharepoint online to convert it to a list. I wanted to have the radio option to see if that would convert correctly into sharepoint.
I am currently upload/converting the document to sharepoint now. Once that is done I am going to see if I can can change the column within sharepoint. I will post the results here.

If you add radio buttons then the file will no longer be a CSV file; they would be preserved only if you save as an Excel file. Also, although the buttons can be placed so that they look like they are in a column, they are not associated with a column. It is highly unlikely that SharePoint would be able to import this file and preserve the buttons. I have access to SharePoint but I have never imported a file into a list. But if you need more help at least I have a platform to try to replicate what you are doing.

I gotcha. I imported into Sharepoint without trying to add radio buttons and Sharepoint did not give me an option to change the current data to radio buttons.
It did let me add the option for new entries but not convert the old. Oh well....looks like we will have to do with that. Thanks for the info!
