    exclude from filter pivot table

Hello. In a filterered field in a pivottable is it possible to EXCLUDE a value? There are 1000s of items in the filter but i want them all except for one. Thanks.

Re: exclude from filter pivot table

Sure you can. When you click the FILTER, you should see that SELECT ALL is checked off. Uncheck it, then choose what you want to see.

You can also achieve the same using a SLICER. Make sure your cursor is in a cell in the PT. At the top under PIVOTTABLE TOOLS - ANALYZE tab - INSERT SLICER (in the Filter section). A box pops up with choices, choose the field you want filtered. The Slicer now allows you to pick the items you want within that field.

    Hope this helps!
