How count occurences in multiple separated columns using countif or other function

    Hi comms

I'm trying count values in table which is populated by visited places - in column B, D, F, H, J.... and right to them in C,E, G, I, K these places should be counted based on WHOLE month. At this moment I can only count places in particular day (I mean in area of one color) but I cant figure out how to set in countif formula the range: range is non-continous area (from B7 to J36) but then using countif formula excel throw error about cyrcular references and cannot execute it. I tried too name range ( whole columns B, D, F, H, J and named it) then used this name in countif formula but same error I must keep in mind that these structure must be like now (no allowed to put all places in one column and make simply countif on whole single column - it would bee too easy) In attachment I put example.

Why not if it makes the whole task simpler?

I'm not only person who must operate on this monthly diagram. It is distributed and filled by ppl, printed in this shape from as long as I remember It must stay. I knew that instead of solution there will be tries to convice to mess up it to 1 column, but it;s not readible by staff as I said. So back to formulas again..

In your first Monday block, you have Head Quarters three times with three visits each. How is that possible? What do those threes represent? The same sort of thing is repeated in the other Daily blocks...

What's the count for Head Quarters for the nine days of May supposed to be?

Ohhh, that, hehe it no matter what's inside first Monday to the whole issue. Its random values, not worse or better that lets say titles of books or movies. Generally speaking there are strings which I want count in whole month.
If for example in 5 cells (across various weeks in month) are placed strings "Lidl Str. Nova 6/12" then at right (offset(0,1)) side of these cells should be value 5 , so I know that this place (string) is 5 times in whole table. I can't explain it simplier.

In this random example: the count for Head Quarters for the nine days of May = 25 (there are "Head Quarters Retro" but its OTHER string so should be counted (15 times)as other string (place)

These threes says how many times value on left cell is in range. So if you look at particular cell then looking at right side (cell at right) you see value. Even if one row below is same place (string) then it's calculated same way. I think how to count them on whole month.
