I am using the find and replace to change the Fill color and Font color. When I run it, it only changes a few, not all of them that it should be. What could be causing this problem? All cells are formatted the same "General."

You have give us a very generic question. What are you putting in the Find box? Give an an example of one cell that is not changed that you think should be changed. Do these cells contain formulas, or values? Which options do you have selected: Match Case? Match Entire Cell Content?
Find: N Blue color fill with white font.
Replace: N Red fill with white font.
It only does half of them. I attached the spreadsheet, I hope.
I tried this and it made 260 replacements, which is all of them.
Here is what the options dialog looked like before I pressed Replace All:

BTW there are a handful of N's at the bottom of September that are black font, so were not affected.

I saw it this time. Thank you. I got mine to pull the 260 too, and yes September had black font, so it didn't change. It would be nice if I could change them based on the N or D to a different color only, instead of adding the existing color. Either way, it's working much better than it did. I was basing mine on a cell, and it wasn't working well. Thank you again!
I might be able to help with that but I'm not following what you mean. Do you mean that you want to change all N cells to white font with red fill, regardless of which color they started out with? You can do that:Originally Posted by BADebbie

Make sure that the first format box says "No format set" and the "Match entire cell contents" box is checked. It worked for me.
