How to count the # of times a person has attended the same training on different dates

Good day!

I hope you guys can help me speed up the process using a formula.

We have a database showing the trainings each person has attended Year-To-Date. A sample of how the database currently looks is in the attached file.

I have also included how the tally should look like in a separate worksheet. I tried using countif but the formula is too limiting because in reality, each training is being conducted on numerous dates. And we have over 40 trainings being attended by close to 1000 individuals. and each training can be attended more than once.

Hope the attached file is a clear representation of my concern.

Oh. And I'm using Microsoft Excel 2013 for Windows.
