Adding the same cell from multple sheets in a single workbook

If I have 40 sheets within a workbook and I need a grand total of the same cell from each of the sheets, what is the best formula?

Example: I need to add together cell L8 from Sheet 1 through Sheet 40, on a front cover page.

Play around with this formula . It will sum all sheets located between sheet1 and sheet40
