Heavy table with no macro

I have been trying to develop a budget template in an excel doc. The template is using formulas referring only to other cells or TAB within the one doc so I don’t understand why it is so heavy 19MB while there is no Macro. Any idea why and how to reduce the file size?

As far as I can tell the problem sheet is MB Detail, after that sheet is deleted and the workbook saved the file size drops to 1.78MB.

Yeah, I agree it's the MB Detail sheet. You have a bunch of filled in cells with formulas that are working despite there being no data with which to work? That seems a bit unnecessary. Why not find a way to use the Excel Table feature that way you don't need all those cells filled in ahead of time? When you add a row for new data, the columns with the formula will automatically fill down.

Just a thought.
