Getting point of intersection for two lines

This is a classic mathematical problem that I can solve easily by hand !!! However I appreciate if there is a solution in excel!!
I have two lines, each line is identified by x & Y coordinates in excel.
The first line is given by (x1, y1) , (x2, y2); and
the second line is given by (x3, y3), and (x4, y4)

I need a formula or macro that gives me x & y of the intersection point ..

What algebraic solution or strategy do you use to solve these? It should be the same algebraic solution using cell references.
