Hi,
Excel's default in inserting object would be with white background with border and will include in the printout. How can we change this default to have clear background and no border and will not be printed?
Please advise.

Gilbert

Thank you in advance,

You can format it the way you want and then right click. There is an option called "Set as default shape", this will save your colors.
As for the printout the best thing I can think of is a macro that sets the "Don't print" option on all shapes on the sheet (or workbook).
Personally I struggle with the fact that shapes are set to "Move and size with cells" instead of "Move but don't size with cells" as default. I have made a macro button that will set all shapes on the sheet to "Move but don't size with cells". It's very handy.

Jacc, taken with your phone?
Yup! The Snipping Tool in Windows doesn't work when you are selecting menus. Hmm... maybe a good old screendump would work? I forgot about that.
