Trying to Add Numbers...In Sequence? Consecutively?

Hello,

I really, really suck at excel.

Anyway...

I am trying to add numbers in sequence, for example

1
2
7
12

Ideally, what I want is

1 | 1
2 | 3
7 | 10
12 | 22

Set up so expandable to any length of numbers

Formatting, nicety, is not an issue, I just need the data

I would simply use the =SUM() function, with the appropriate relative and absolute references. I would probably recommend something like this: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...e-b50a667eb491 to review the basics of creating formulas and how to use referencing in formulas.

Assuming the numbers are placed in column A, starting in row 2, the function might look something like =SUM(A$2:A2) (in B2) and copied down. Note how I mixed absolute references with relative references to get the sum.
