    top 10 bestsellers

    Hi

Sorry am bit new to excel, I am trying to create a top 10 report for bestselling products in excel but am bit stuck on it

I have created a report but have noticed if I add a product, it automatically changes the name to the same as the others that have a number of 1

I have attached my report to this message

    Thank you in advance

    Ian

This function, entered into D4 and confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER as an array formula should fix your problem:

    Here's another method.
It uses a helper column (yellow cells) to rank the sales then an INDEX/MATCH (green cells) to look up the values.

Can't copy it? In what way?
Is there an error message or anything?

I downloaded the excel file you attached and it opened in a new book and I want to move it from the new book to a already opened book I have as a new worksheet, I am not getting any error message or anything as the workbook I have already open does not show in the list of books where it says to book

Sounds like you have two instances of Excel open.

Save the attachment then with your other workbook open, use the open option under File to open the workbook you saved.

See if that allows you to move it between. Or, simply replicate the formulas I entered.

Perfect, I did what you said in regards to the closing of one excel instance and opening the attachment within the one excel instance and then just moved it from the opened workbook to the workbook with the other sheets on and is perfect now

    Thank you so much
