    Creating multiple conditions In one

If this is the wrong area... my apologies.

I am creating a spreadsheet with different dates of received items, running totals and average time frames.
I have added columns to calculate how many working days between dates. (this works fine)

I have a column where I need to display a running average of those working days between dates. But I also want to be able to have the cells below the most current one, be blank. I would like everything to be blank (not zero's!) on the condition of the date entered in Column A.

    Example...

Column A Received Dog Food on (Row A3) 07/04/2016
    (Row A4) 07/05/2016
    (Row A5 07/06/2016 ...etc

In column G Rejected dog food on (Row G3) 07/06/2016
    (Row G4) 07/08/2016
    (Row G5) 07/12/2016 ...etc

In Column K it auto-calculates the number of working days of each of those rows

In Column P It needs to average out the number of days it is taking. (If g5 is my last row) I would think that it needs to base the average on everything including that day and above.

Then underneath row G5 I want it blank..UNTIL the date is entered in Column A, row 6

I have tried everything I can think of to do both the averages..Not working.
I have tried everything I can think of to merge the two functions needed in them, not working. ) average and remain blank and running totals and remain blank.

HELP PLEASE I am ready to pull my hear out of my inexperienced excel head!

Assuming your formula starts in, say, row 3, start your formula with =IF(G3="","",...)

    So, instead of

    you'd have
    Formula: copy to clipboard

It would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook, so we can see more clearly what your problem is. To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and you will see the filename in the panel on screen. Click on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post.

Only you know what you have already. You haven't shared that level of detail.
