Need help in recovering very important file, the data file on which I was working yesterday is not opening today and believe me there was lot of work involved in compiling that file, can anybody please help me or guide to recover the file
Below is the error message:
"Excel cannot open the file DATA.xlsx because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file"
Please urgent help needed.
You have macro's in that file?
In that case the exentions need to be .xlsm
Notice my main language is not English.

No i dont have macros in that file
Then there is no need to change the extension.
