Hey,
I need to apply a conditional formatting on a range of cells, where the cell will be formatted, if it is equal to a keyword from a range.
I tried equal to and clicked the range, but excle tells me its not possible to work with a range...
Any ideas ?
So you have something like
a value in A1 and you want to highlight it if the value appears in say B1:B10
Select A1
Conditional Formatting
New Rule
Use a formula to determine...
=(COUNTIF($B1:B$10,A1)<>0)
Format as required
Use Format painter (paintbrush icon) to copy to other cells

Similar to Special-K's answer:
S2 is the value you want to format if it's found in the range D2:R2
