    Counting time values in a sports schedule

    Hi,

    I have a soccer schedule spreadsheet,and I would like to be able to tell how often each team plays the different game times. Thanks

    Sunday 8/21/2016
    Field 2 5:00 Big Kick Amigos VS Vipers
    Field 1 6:45 Parkway VS Roanoke FC
    Field 2 6:45 Forza VS White
    Field 1 8:30 Synergy 2 VS Synergy
    Field 2 8:30 Real Roanoke VS International

    Sunday 8/28/2016
    Field 2 5:00 Synergy VS Vipers

    How is the data laid out? Are we looking at three columns here or more? It would be easier if the data were in one block, with the date in column A.

    A1 would be date B1 would be time C1&D1 would be teams

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Venue would be nice but the game times are more important to me in this application

    Try the formula below in N4, then fill down and fill right:

    =COUNTIFS($H$4:$H$19,N$3,$G$4:$G$19,$M4)+COUNTIFS($J$4:$J$19,N$3,$G$4:$G$19,$M4)
