    Finding a macro, CellHasFormula

    HI

    I have an elderly workbook that I have been messing about with for many years, mostly with success. I am now getting a warning security message (whenever I try to modify it) saying 'macros have been disabled'.

    I think I looked at macros some years ago, but cannot recall the detail, or whether I inserted one.

    I have looked at the developer/macros tab and cannot see any macros listed there.

    The only thing I can think of is that I use =NOT(CellHasFormula) as part of conditional formatting. is CellhasFormula a macro? and if so why can't I find & delete it?

    Thanks

    K

    CellHasFormula should be cell reference.

    Press Ctrl+F3 and in Name Manager find it and delete it (or fix it).

    This has helped thanks, yes the CellHasFormula was a cell ref. I deleted it and also the conditional format that used it.

    I still get a security warning though, now warning me that 'Data Connections have been disabled?

    What is this ?

    Look in Data -> Connections

    Find link there and break it.

    That worked, Thanks. I have no idea what it was or where it came from. It seemed to be a connection to a named range or something. No problem. mega-thanks
