Sharing a workbook with users without Office

I have made a workbook with one sheet. This sheet has a table, some conditional formatting, some slicers and a text box. I tried sharing this workbook so that others could edit. But many of them don't have Office, and they have Mac. They get the message to edit online, but then it stops. It says that the document has figures or objects that are not supported. This happens even if they use Chrome instead of Safari.

This is quite a disappointment as they now recommend that we use Google instead :/

Do you have a solution, or is it impossible inside Office?
