I need to count data in a column that is mixed with #N/A, and I get answers of #N/A. Is there a way around this? Note, I need to use =NA() in blank cells, instead of ="" for purposes of plotting in a chart.

Maybe this...
=COUNTIF(A1:A10,"<>#N/A")
That will count empty cells.
If that doesn't give you the result you expect provide more detailed info.
