    missing horizontal slide bar

For no apparent reason - apparent being the operative word - the horizontal slide bar on the bottom of my spreadsheets seems to have disappeared, leaving me only the arrow keys to scroll. Can anyone tell me how I can retrieve it?

    Thnx.

File | Options | Advanced - scroll to Display settings for workbook and re-enable them there.

You probably accidentally keyed in a shortcut.

    Hey mjohn99,

Are there three vertical dots where the scroll bar is supposed to be? If there is then grab those and slide them to the left.
    If not then keep asking.

If there are no dots then how about looking at AliGW's answer. Have you looked at the file options yet?

Checked Files>Options>Advanced and Show slide bar was checked properly, but still no slide bar. Possible a Windows setting?
