Cursor won't change to hand and allow clicking hyperlinks

I have a spreadsheet with a column of hyperlinks to picture of the meter.
A few of them if i click around the column will finally open in chrome. I've never had trouble until the past 2 weeks.
When I move the cursor over the cell it usually changes to a hand and I click to see the picture.
Now the cursor is a plus symbol and just highlights the cell. Copying the cell into a browser opens the pic so the link is good.
Links are auto generated from IFORM data captured.

Any ideas?

For one of the cells that won't link, right-click and select Hyperlink. Do you see anything in the Address field? If not, but the cell contains a URL, double click on the cell then hit Enter and see if that restores the link.

If I right click and select hyperlink I get a "INSERT HYPERLINK" window. The button on the left for "Existing File or WebPage" is already selected. Address is blank on the Insert Hyperlink Window. That seems to be the problem. If I copy the

"Text to Display" into the address bar and click ok it becomes a workable link they always have. How would I fix this for the column without going 1 by 1?

Double clicking and hitting enter restores the link as well. There are 1000 plus links in the column. Is there a way to mass correct them?

Enter another column. Formula is =hyperlink(cell with link, cell with link). Drag down. Since I don't think you can copy and paste from there, you could always just hide the original column.

I will give this a shot. This spreadsheet is an export of data that has been the same for 2 yrs. Not sure why all the sudden it started disliking the links. I will let you know how it goes.
