Calculate surveys to pass

Hi all,

I've tried searching the forums already but I can't see any answer to my problem.

I'm trying to get make a calculator in Excel to show how many more surveys are needed to get a passing mark. The surveys that a person gets can either be a Top, Mid or Bot. Passing rate is 95% Top.

So if a person has 8 Top surveys out of 10 surveys total (8/10), he needs to get at least 10 more to get 90% (18/20). And with that, the total survey count also increase.

So if A2, B2 and C2 has the Top, Mid and Bot count respectively, D2 is the total count of surveys, E2 is the current Top percentage, what formula do I use in F2 to show the required number of Top surveys needed to reach the passing, which is a constant 90%. Or is there any other solution/process that needs to be done to get that.

Please attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
