Thumbs up Adding 2 Standard Time Formats

    Hi,

    I'm having a brain fart:

I have 2 times in 2 columns & want to add them, such as:

    Cell C3: 6:00 AM
    Cell D3: 8:30 AM

In Cell E3, I want the result as 2:30

I messed around the formatting & either getting 14:30 or 2:30 PM & don't want either of them.

How to simply add these 2 times & get "2:30" format?

    Thanks

    The formula is simply =D3-C3.

The magic is then formatting the cell to display NumberFormat h:mm
