Categorize Dates (Rows) as Week/Month if older than 4 weeks from now.

Looking for assistance from Excel Experts here….

We have Dates in Column A for purchase date of different products, there are over 10,000 rows and date starts from October 2015 until Today and added every day for all sales transactions.

How categorize Date rows as below:
If Date in Column A (i.e. A2 less than 4 weeks from now) , sum up the rows values (Sales values are in Column B) and show them on Week and Month format.

Excel Columns:
A: Date
B:Sales Value
C:Z Customer details – contacts – address ……

You can use sumifS to perform the summing up of row values, however when you're asking for them to be shown on Week and Month format you're going to need to be a bit clearer. How do you want this part to work?

You could use Excel WEEKNUM and or MONTH functions alongside SUMIF to create a table detailing what the sales figures are for each Week Number or Month. You'd have to factor in YEAR also and perform SUMIFS as the data is now 13 months old.
