I'm trying out this Gantt chart to see if it would work for what I need.
I need to create Calendars for each of the tasks to show the work load for the month.
Since the sheet is already split into calendar dates I figure it shouldn't be too difficult (for someone more advanced than I ) to go one step further and put info into a visual calendar.

Secondly, could you explain what you mean by "put info into a visual calendar"? Can you show us a mock-up of what you want?

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook HERE? Some members will not or are not able to access file-sharing sites.
1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.
2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).
3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).
4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.
Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

Last tab shows how calendar would be setup. I would make a separate one for each task.
The purpose for these calendars to to give me a quick look to see if there are any conflicts in work overload.
For example same task needing to be done on same day for different production jobs.
Can anyone provide me some insight into this calendar setup?

If you are speaking of the file attached to post #5 I just downloaded with no problem, so you should be able to download also, unless you have a firewall etc. that is preventing downloads.
If you are speaking of the file attached to post # 3 then the "sign in" message may be coming from dropbox, in which case I can't help.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
