Yes. Create the textbox. With it selected, click in the formula bar and enter the full cell reference like this
=Sheet1!$D$1 or (if the sheet name contains spaces):
='A different sheet'!$D$1

No problem! It's only simple if you know the answer....
..let's say I want text from multiple cells connected to the textbox ... I tried with a ";" separator but that didn't work. How do I do that ?
I think (happy to be corrected) that you would need to combine the cells on the sheet itself and then refer to the combined label in the text box. I normally hide such cells behind the chart....

Just been googling. It can be done, but you need VBA.
