hyperlink that links to contents not to specific cell

Hello!

I want to create a hyperlink in excel that links to the contents of the cell, not to a cell itself.

For example, I have a hyperlink called "figure" that sends me to a cell that contains a figure, let's say B6. But then I sort my data in a different way and the figure ends up in cell C5. Then I would like "figure" to send me to C5. Is this possible?

I hope someone can help me, it's giving me headaches!

This seems to indicate that its not the word "figure" in the content?

Can you upload a sample workbook containing data and an example or two?

Sure thing!

In the attached file there's 2 sheets, I want a hyperlink in cell A2 from the "Fruits" sheet that sends me to B2 in "Figures".
However if I sort the data in "Figures" differently and the picture of the banana ends up in D4 instead of B2, the hyperlink of A2-Fruits
will still send me to B2-Figures even when the picture of the banana is no longer there...

So I want the hyperlink "Banana" to always send me to the picture of the banana regardless where it ends up when I sort the data
in different ways.

Thanks! But something seems to be wrong, I copied-pasted the way you wrote it and excel says there's an error in the formula, when I press OK it highlights "B2,Figures".

Could you please double check this for me?

Did you replace all the , with ; - since you use ; as an argument separator in Sweden?

I did that and translated "hyperlink" and "match" to Swedish as well.
